NTSSA Adult Volunteer Requirements
Per NTSSA Rule 3.6.1, all adult volunteers who may be alone with a registered youth player at any time during their duties must complete an annual Criminal Background Check.
By participating as an adult volunteer, individuals consent to Criminal Background Checks as required by NTSSA.
Who Must Complete These Requirements?
At a minimum, the following individuals are required to complete annual background checks:

Head Coaches

Assistant Coaches
-
Team Managers
-
Trainers
-
Referees
-
Volunteer Administrators
-
Board Members
-
Staff and Employees
Additional volunteers may be required to comply if their role could place them alone with registered youth players.
Important: Background Checks and SafeSport Training must be completed before participating in team activities.
